Some featured sites even offer to pay you hundreds just for manual data entry or doing surveys. These featured sites are not really all genuine. Some scammers might just be trying to catch your attention to lure you into their site and then try to rip you off. I'm sure many of you would have encountered this kind of situation. If the scammers are persuasive enough, they might get lucky and have a few innocent victims pay them. Then the poor folks who paid them would get nothing in return. Isn't it unfair? You're just trying to get a job and there you are being scammed.

To avoid this kind of situation, I would greatly advise all of you not to pay for any site that promises you a job. Instead, you can invest money on sites that actually help you find legitimate companies for you to work for. These kinds of site acts like a job agency which provides you with a list of companies, and allows you to choose whom you wish to work for. To be sure that these sites are not scam sites, you can check the Term of Sale (TOS) for a refund policy. If it is stated that you can get refund, you can be sure your money is always safe in your pocket. Purchasing a product or service blindly is a foolish act and must be corrected.

If you are in doubt, check if they provide a hotline or similar. Some sites provide a Live Help Chat system which enables potential members and existing members to contact them if they have any queries. Working from home might be tempting, but make sure you choose the right sites to trust.
