The internet is a huge community. But with such huge community, it is hard to prevent yourself from getting scammed at times. People who were never once a scammer in real life would try to be one in the digital world. Hence, while searching for a online job, do yourself a favor and follow this guide closely.

I'm going to tell you the do's and the don'ts while you are searching for an online job.

While searching for a work from home job, Do:

1. Search thoroughly for information regarding a certain company which you wish to work for.

2. Check with your family and friends and see if they agree that you should join the company

3. Search for more companies and compare their offers (If a certain company's offer is too good to be true, you better stay away from it).

4. Join a forum community and discuss with them about the company you are about to join and ask them for valuable information.

5. Stay away from websites that say they provide online jobs, but the website itself looks unpleasant and untrustworthy.

6. Send an email to that company to inquire more about their service/job they are offering.

7. Check if you are able to claim a refund if you are purchasing their service/product (Usually on the payment page before you even make the purchase).

Now that you know what to do, I will show you what not to do. Don't:

1. Ever give out your credit card information easily.

2. Ever act so rashly and to sign up blindly for any online job opportunities.

3. Even be fooled by "Get Rich Quick Scheme" which some websites promise.

4. Be fooled by the figures.

5. Accept jobs which you are unfamiliar with (If you are unlucky you might even be involved in a legal lawsuit).
